Just got this game, i cant seem to get it working with a controller. It detects the A and B buttons, but not start and i cant bind the D pad either. Any tips on how to get this working? I cant play on keyboard so without controller working its unplayable for me

Which operating system and what kind of controller are you using? I can take a look into it

I am on windows 10, the controller is an arcade stick set to direct input, specifically an Ultimarc IPAC Ultimate I/O

ah, i'm not sure how i would be able to fix that atm, i'm really sorry. i'll keep an eye out for a solution though

Tried another controler, the retrobit saturn pro controller. It detects face buttons and analog sticks, but no dpad.

your retrobit controller might have a way to toggle between direct input and x input
